The 6 Main Responsibilities of a Leader

We used to have just one team in one place. Today we have multiple teams in different places. This caused us to change how we function as leaders.

Now we focus on training others who will train others. As Paul instructs Timothy, those things we’ve heard and learned, we mustentrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also(2.Timothy 2:2, ESV).

Every organization needs more leaders and these leaders need to know how to function in both the systems and culture of the organization. The following training will describe the main responsibilities of a leader. It will also show a process that, when worked, promotes discipleship and develops leaders in all levels of an organization.

Q: How would you describe how God wants a leader to function?

Key Scriptures:

  • Matthew 16:18

  • Exodus 31

  • Colossians 1:9

  • Ephesians 4:11-16

  • 2 Timothy 2:2
